Conduct an Investigative Interview (US 253982)

Full accreditation for the Investigative Interviewing-course was granted to MEGAPLAN IIS by the Safety and Security SETA (SASSETA) on the 21st November 2008. The course is at an NQF Level 5 (National Diploma Level) and have a Credit Value of 4. (5-Day Course)

After successfully completing this course, the learner added the following to his Resume (Curriculum Vitae):

“I have been accredited and certified by the Safety and Security SETA (SASSETA) in 2017 (dates) after completing an intensive course in Forensic Interviewing presented by Megaplan Investigative Interviewing Services: US 253982 –“Conduct an Investigative Interview” and achieved an “Excellent” grade for my final results. This course has been rated at NQF Level 5 (National Diploma Level) and has a Credit Value of 4 (5-Day Course). It is considered as the most intensive and comprehensive course in investigative interviewing available in South Africa, and provides an effective and systematic approach to investigative interviews, ensuring optimum results during investigative interviews.

This course included, in addition to basic investigative interviewing skills, the following: Personality type assessments in accordance with the Myers Briggs© Instrument; Statement Analysis; Basic and Advanced Interviewing Techniques; Body Language; Questioning Techniques and Skills; Legal Aspects concerning the Admissibility of Statements and Active Listening Skills.”

Write Security Reports and Take Statements (US 11508)

Full accreditation for the Investigative Interviewing-course was granted to MEGAPLAN IIS by the Safety and Security SETA (SASSETA) on the 10th November 2009. (5 Day Course). This course was developed to address a major requirement in the Corporate Investigative environment.

Investigate a Crime or Incident (US 253980)

This 3-day course is newly acquired  and is provided in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding MOU with a fully accredited SASSETA Service Provider. The portfolio of evidence can be completed by the learner in accordance with a pre-arranged schedule which  provides the learner more time for self-study. It provides the basic training to attend to Crime Scenes.
